Chair Mould Part Hardness Is The Main Factor Affecting Wear Resistance

The hardness of the Chair Mould(FURNITUREMOULD) parts is the main factor affecting the wear resistance. Generally, the higher the hardness of the chair mould part, the smaller the wear amount, and the better the wear resistance. In addition, wear resistance is also related to the type, amount, shape, size and distribution of carbides in the material.


Most of the working conditions of the chair mould are very bad, and some working conditions often suffer from large impact loads, resulting in brittle fracture. In order to prevent the chair mould part from suddenly breaking during operation, the chair mould must have high strength and toughness. The toughness of the chair mould depends primarily on the carbon content, grain size and microstructure of the material.
